You invited everyone, had filled the tables with lots of goodies, but what to do now?

The team of kartoshkes will listen to the stories of family and friends and will show them to you through ‘Playback Theatre’. Your funniest, exiting and special life stories will become in an instance of improvisation a performance of acting, movement, singing and live music. So get a one-time experience unforgettable!

 

How do we do it?

We will learn to understand the context of the event and its purpose. For example, a surprise party to honor silver wedding or a birthday event. We will ask about the technical details: date, place (we appear throughout the country), number of participants, etc. For example: at the Center of the country, and intended for 100 people. The moderator of the performance will talk first with those who commissioned the event, in order to coordinate and match the performance to the nature of the event and the spirit of the people. In a Birthday event, for example, the performance will be built around the central person who the event is done for her/him. All stories (if you choose to) focus on different periods of her/his life and the moderator of the performance will refer and concentrate in regard to human activities, and its immediate surroundings that will be part of the event.
